Google Talk, the instant messenger program with only 44,000 users, has been updated with a bunch of new features. Say goodbye to the bloat free Google Talk, and hello to the new Google Talk that allows file transfers, voice mail, and music status.

Soon there will be crazy animations, annoying noises, and maybe even a multiplayer gaming thing built in. Oh Joy! (said with much sarcasm.)
I really don’t want Google Talk to start adding crazy features like music status to their application. I think file sharing has been needed for a while, but voicemail?
Do you think these additions will make a better or worse Google Talk application?
