Sony releases new Spider Man 3 images

If you head down to Sony’s official Spider-Man website you can download wallpapers featuring new images from the upcoming Spider-Man 3 film. One image features the Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) in full-glory, protecting a small child. However, another image features Eddie Brock (Topher Grace) being overtaken by the black costume symbiote. The images are high-quality and should get the blood pumping in most Spider-Man fans.

Additionally, a low-quality video recording of the full Spider-Man 3 trailer shown at the San Diego Comic Con was recently removed from You Tube due to copyright infringements. For those interested, the trailer did feature a brief glimpse at a fully-transformed Venom, and even within the grainy video quality, he looked great.

They’re certainly promoting it a lot for a movie that’s only arriving next year. Still, cool wallpapers :)

Yeah, they’re marketing strategy appears to be “Make the wait as hard as possible”. I think it’s working, too.

I love that studios are really starting to understand how the internet at large can improve a movie (or kill it)

Actually, venom will have dark webs, a monster like wide mouth, small sharp teeth, not so big of a licker, a spider symbol on his chest, and sharp finger nails, and roars like a monster.
