At the San Diego Comic Con, attendees were treated to animatics of scenes from the upcoming Simpsons feature film. You can see those animatics right here.
Hey, they made *me* laugh. Still not sure what the plot is, but it looks to be a typical “Homer screws up” scenerio. Been getting a LOT of those, lately. I won’t deny that the Simpsons has been losing its edge for, what, the past five years, now? Still, I have a feeling they’ve saved up their Conan O’Brien-era A-material for the movie. And no matter how much I may knock the present episodes of the series, I know I’ll be first in line at the movie theater along with every other jaded Simpsons fan in my city.
