According to DigiTimes’ Taiwan notebook manufacturer sources, Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors might be getting SLI support. So for those of you that like what Core 2 Duo has to offer, but feel annoyed being limited to only one video card, you now might be getting some love.

Don’t be surprised if it is only nVidia’s SLI that is really well supported in this new endeavor, as ATI is now part of AMD. Though rumors are that the support will be for SLI and CrossFire both. Did I mention that this is scheduled for Intel’s notebook Core 2 Duo chips, though I doubt it will stay as laptop only.
