I host a few sites at Dreamhost and have been very happy with them. I just got my monthly Dreamhost Newsletter and there was an announcement that they are now offering ActiveCollab as a one-click install. If you haven’t heard of ActiveCollab, it is a free, open source alternative to Basecamp. It runs on PHP/MySQL and is super easy to install. I have been messing around with it a little bit and it has been really useful.
So, if you already have a Dreamhost account, check out the one-click install of ActiveCollab. If you don’t have a Dreamhost account, get one and try it out. You can also download and install ActiveCollab yourself.
Be sure to check out these great Dreamhost Promo Codes if you are going to get a new accout.

2I have a question about the promo codes, lets say I use one. When my one year (or whatever plan i signed up for) is up can I use the promotion codes again to continue with dreamhost, or am i stuck paying full price? :(

3When you renew, you have to pay full price. The Promo Code is only good for the first year.
However, you can sign up and then maybe get enough rewards to cover your renewal costs by referring friends and such to Dreamhost.
