Plextor will soon introduce a new kind of CD/DVD combo which you *don’t* want to mixup with your DVD burner. This new drive will apparently destroy all the data on any CD or DVD that you own in just 6 minutes.

I think that if you break de disk in half you pretty much make it unusable unless there is some disk recovering technology I’ve never heard of. But if your wallet is thick and you feel like destroying your data before throwing any disks out, then this should be the right add-on for you.

1I find that hitting my cd’s that I dont want with a stick and watching all the silver linen flying everywhere more fun than waiting 6mins for an un-burner :D

2or you can microwave them for like 20 seconds, and it’s much more sparkly.
