Alexander, from DVD Newsroom had a nice talk with an Apple employee and obtained some interesting information regarding what we can expect from Jobs the next time he shows up.
Among such details, is the confirmation that the next Apple computers will surely have Blu-Ray support. And people can expect their Macs to come with Blu-Ray drives January 07 (just in time for my birthday :) ).
Also, it appears that the next Mac Minis will be “pushed” in the direction of Tivo, and go from just a miniature size computer, to a full-fledged media center. And with the coming of Blu-Ray to Apple machines you’ll be able to record entire seasons of shows on a single disk without compromising the video’s quality.
