NASA loses the Moon Pictures

It seems that NASA can’t find the tapes that recorded the first moon landing 37 years ago.

“Your guess is a good as mine as to where they are.”

So if you have a TV recording of the event be sure to hang on to it, and since you’re at it, back it up.

As the title of the article says, this is indeed one giant blunder for mankind.

  1. Extremely interesting! A slight oversight? ;-)

I am totally shocked by this, way to add fuel to the fire. Now the conspiracy nuts will think they have proof the landing on the moon was a hoax. (sarcasm)

I thought they lost the moon itself.

Good grief. NASA has been valiantly trying to rebuild its reputation, and now this? I know their archives must be enourmous and items are constantly being shuffled between their many facilities, but this is inexcusable. Obviously the recent “housecleanings” haven’t been enough. I fear this govermental entity, much like the IRS, is fundamentally broken.

a tape of this magnitude cannot be easily lost, or you can call me a conspiracy nut.
