During this year’s National Association of Recording Merchandisers conference, Google came in and scared the heck out of most of the other attendees. Could Google become the next iTunes?
Google was not there to promote a gTunes service, infact, they said that they don’t have such a product on the list now, or any time soon, according to Chris Sacca, the head of business development for Google.
Sacca yammered on and on about the need for music stores to come together, form unified standards, improve usability
I think they are not doing it because they wouldn’t do well at it. Google Video anyone?
