Its easy to see the oposite scar But I loved the movie but i hated the end i’ve watched the movie 2 times but i just can’t stand the ending. I hope they make a movie or new series that continues brotherhood though :)

shambala was GREAT.
when i saw King Bradley (alternate)
recognised envy’s voice,
saw (WHATEVER HER NAME WAS, THE ONE WITH THE SHORT HAIR AND THE ALCHEMY NECKLACE)

saw rose-noah
the other Maes Hughes
and everyone else in their alterate states, oh god that was mind blowng.

i really liked the part when ed screams, “SHOW ME YOUR LEFT EYE! NOW!”

but…. wow. WHY DID IZUMI HAVE TO DIIIEEE!!!
…i sorta liked brotherhood and the original manga more, though, because of Ling Yao and (L)Ranfan appeared. man i would have LOVED to see the Xingians iin alternate state.

…ok i’ll stop my stupid fan rant now.

I just got done watching the entire series in about two days – absolutely mind blowing. I loved all of it, except for the entire Nazi parade costume. I thought something along the lines of a powerful cult that had gained some powerful alchemy powers out of those ”connections” between the two worlds would be more suitable in the movie. I mean, really, did anyone here expect the rise of Germany to get involved with this storyline when you saw the first 5 episodes?

Otherwise, great. I loved the last part ( and will probably be the last part forever) when they both decided to live their remaining lives in boring ol’ Earth. Much better then where ep. 51 left me at. Kinda depressing really. So for the most part. The reunion of the brothers I thought was a magnificent ending, though they didn’t really make it as of an emotional one as it probably should’ve been. Let’s just hope they leave the story be alone.

Personally, it was a let-down in my opinion. I didn’t really like ep. 51, either. It was a great movie, but I hated how they tied our world into things. One of my favorite things about fma was how much of an epic fantasy it was. I loved how it was pure make-believe. Tying our world into it kind of made it seem too realistic.

But it was great how realistic they made it, with the whole WW1 thing. But we at least still have the manga…

Conqueror of Shamballa is probably the best anime movie. Play Magazine even called it the most satisfying conclusion an anime has ever received.

Well i though the movie was awesome and the only thing that kind of made me mad was there was no Ed like kicking everyones butt with his awesome alchemy and fighting skills. But i hope they make a sequel i would definatly watch.

Honestly, I thought the movie was great. The music fit well with the different scenes and the graphics were great, but it was too gloomy for me. Personally, I would have liked it better if something actually blossomed between Ed and Winry.. ah, that timeless question. I hope there’s a sequel!

Yeah, I can agree to a point on the Nazi Lady (her name escapes me at the moment for some reason). She was a bit 2-dimensional until the last scene where you find out her rage is fueled by bigotry. Not very surprising, ya know, since she’s a *nazi* and all.

But I really loved all the effort they put into working the characters into post WWI Germany and all the historic details they threw it. It just fascinated me, is all. I thought it was a terrific conclusion (even if it leaves the door open for a sequel).

Wow, I think this is the most positive review of that movie that I have ever read. Personally I found it a bit disappointing, but perhaps that’s because I watched it just after I finished the series.

The friend that lent me it then told me that the movie came out a year after the show ended, even though it was still extremely popular, so most people ended up enjoying it greatly.

However, I would have preferred if the main enemy had been more, well, realistic (yes I realize most of the characters in the series aren’t). But I still found it (the enemy) a bit exaggerated. The rest of the story was great.

But hey, it’s much better than the first Naruto movie by far, which in my opinion was a big pile of steaming &%$#.
