Chances are you don’t remember them, but there were actually 2 seasons of G.I. Joe produced after G.I. Joe the Movie. These seasons, produced by DiC as opposed to Sunbow, are of debatable quality.
However, the initial miniseries, “Operation: Dragonfire”, which picked up right where the Movie left off, was actually pretty enjoyable. If any of you Joe fans have never gotten the chance to see it, check out my review, Right Here!
It would seem that many people choose to forget the DiC era of G.I. Joe animation, or simply are not aware the 2 seasons after G.I. Joe the Movie ever existed. I find myself hard-pressed to blame these people for their selective memory or willful ignorance, because quite honestly, the majority of the DiC-produced episodes were terrible.
