According to Here, Here and Here, The official launch date of the Nintendo Wii has been confirmed. The Wii will be released in North and South America on November 19th for $250. It will then be released in Japan on December 2nd for 25,000 yen (roughly $215).
Nintendo intends to ship 4 million units worldwide with an expected 25 titles to be released within the year.
