Fulfilling Yogurt’s prophecy of unstoppable marketing, (according to CNN and Variety) Spaceballs will be getting an animated series in Fall of 2007!
The first season will consist of a 1-hour pilot and 13 subsequent episodes and will be airing exclusively on G4-TechTV. Creator Mel Brooks will be heavily involved with the animated series, penning the pilot and supervising the stories for the rest of the season. Brooks will also be returning as the voice of Yogurt.
Hey, a reason to actually watch G4. It’s a miracle! Hopefully they’ll be able to get Rick Moranis back as Dark Helmet. I mean, c’mon, he’s been doing mostly voice-work these days, anyhow.

2G4 is currently showing Arrested Development so there would now be two reasons to watch.

3I agree with yellowspaced. I wish there was a second movie instead of a tv show. Television is full of commercials (even with tivo) and the acting is poor.
