I think trying ot bring MMO’s to a new place online is a great idea, but one surrounding dancing? I don’t think it is such a great idea, but that is what Acclaim has announced, even so far as taking sign ups for beta testing their upcoming free MMORPG called DANCE!
The game will be free to play and supported through both in-game ads along with revenue through players paying for extra gear and accessories for their avatars.
By keeping in sync with the beat, players will be able to perfect their dancing skills that range from basic steps to the wildest club-style dance moves with amazing choreography. And all to the beat of their favorite tracks since DANCE! will also feature chart topping hits from the hottest music artists in the world. Music will be available in a variety of styles and genres offering something for every music fan.
As a multiplayer online game, players can also make new friends and compete in battles to see who can keep up. They can even go back and replay their own dance music video. One of the more unique aspects of the game is the couples system. In DANCE!, male and female characters can find their perfect mate, fall in love, enter couples competitions, and even get married.
Please someone tell me this is a hoax or fake…please…

1Keeping Synch and MMORPG in the same sentence can only mean disaster. If I had to depend on synchronism on any of the MMORPGs I’ve played in the past I would have been defeated countless times.
