Ever since I’ve been surfing blogs I’ve found and seen pretty much every type of gadget modification that there is. From an R2-D2 case mod to the very shinny Temple of NOD ATX case mod, but this case mod beats all of those by far in terms of sheer creativity.

Presenting the Typewriter Laptop case mod:

This very impressive case mod features: functioning speakers, typewriter “bell” when you press the “Enter” key, a small trackball. At the back it has (from what I could tell) two USB ports, a network card, a VGA (and serial?) port and also what appears to be an LPT1 port. There is also one final port which I couldn’t confirm, but I reckon that it’s a stereo output (or input).

Too bad that he/she/they didn’t put any picture of it actually running, but, in any case, it’s an excellent display of craftsmanship.
