The often-criticized video game network, G4-TechTV has recently been brought under new management, namely E! Television. ‘G4′ has been consistently one of the lowest-ranked basic cable networks for some time, festering down in the 57th spot out of a total of 64 networks. After losing much money due to programing of debatable quality, much of which has nothing to do with video games, G4′s fate may be up in the air.
For now the channel will not be disappearing, but expect several cancellations, lay-offs and an overall programming readjustment. Think back to when Tech TV and G4 first merged.
With any luck, G4 will start showing programs about video games again.

I doubt it would be about video games. I can see them turning it into MTV facsimile.
I grew up with ZDTV, and then TechTV. I have not spent one ounce of viewing time on the drek that proliferates “G4″.
Its a sad thing that the whole thing fell apart. But its okay, TWiT and Digg came out of this all, so my nerd-ular gland is satisfied.
