According to the Magic Box these were the numbers of console sales in September in the Japanese market:

PSP - 23,118 - 1,335,597

GameBoy Advance SP – 2,145 – 198,521

GameBoy Micro - 1,186 – 123,582

Xbox 360 – 1,109 – 76,058

GameCube - 763 – 66,060

Nintendo DS - 316 – 955,131

GameBoy Advance - 20 – 3,095

Xbox – 8 - 1,669

In short, not much has changed. The DS Lite continues to incredibly fly off the shelves, the PSP struggles to sell more than it’s 6 years older brother. And the XBox 360 stilll hasn’t reached the 100k sales in Japan yet even after the rather impressive showcase in the Tokyo Games Show, it still continues to sell less most of the Gameboys.
