SNK and Nintendo get pedolicious

 SNK and Nintendo get pedolicious

It would appear that SNK is designing several dating/rape games for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii which are geared toward fans of the lolicon fetish. For those not familiar with the lolicon or moe trends sweeping Japan, they involve sexualizing children.

Using the interactive technology of the DS (such as the touchscreen) or the Wii (the Wiimote), players can lift the skirts of middle schoolers up for a peek at their goods, forcibly strip them of their clothing, grope their various parts or even go so far as to fingerbang them via the DS’s touch-pen.

Here’s a look at the storyline behind one of these groundbreaking video games:

According to stories spotted on DegenkiOnline and UK Resistance, the well known King of Fighter publisher SNK will be releasing DOKIDOKI MAJOSAIBAN or Exciting Witch Trial on the Wii and DS. The object of these games is to strip and grope young women in order to detect which ones are witches or human.

And Japan just dropped a good 200 notches on the Respect-o-Meter.

As far as I can see, Detructoid has totally misunderstood the article.

I’m waiting for a more correct translation.

  2. All Your Lost Socks says:

xen ix, I wouldn’t give this one the benefit of the doubt. Stuff like this has existed in Japan for a while.
Seriously, Destructoid, anyone who didn’t already know that things like this have been available within and importable from Japan for quite some time (“sweeping” implies something new that is taking the country by storm) hasn’t been, for whatever reason, paying much attention to the prevalence of this kind of porn in their mainstream adult entertainment culture. And thus, shouldn’t judge SNK as the first to do this. It is something bad, yes, something sick and wrong, but nothing new.
Your “respect-o-meter” wouldn’t have 200 points left to fall if you paid attention to some of the other things coming out of this sector of Japan. I mean, if that’s how you rate things. I would be interested to see how much respect you had for other nations’ media.

  3. Jontarou says:

Seriously. Japan is one of the most perverted countries in the world. If you think THIS is something…

However, it is something of a low point for Nintendo, I believe. Still, Nintendo’s about making money and make money these shall.

What about the western society? The love for violent games. How healthy is that? It’s like having to chose from having the ebola or the plague.

  5. > says:

umm you guys are all gay =) oh, and stupid =D

i don’t know why you guys would care in the first place.

  6. DD says:

Liking little girls = healthier than violent games. :P

  7. Tironius says:

The Japanese are a bunch of deviants…. and god bless them for it.

  8. >_> says:

Nothing really surprising about it. this is japan we are talking about… the world outside wouldn’t understand…

  9. Wavehawk says:

Yes, but it’s probably healthier to play a game about killing terrorists than a game about abusing little girls. It’s not as if some kid who plays Quake is going to go off to his school and kill teachers, right?

…oh. Right. Kettle calling pot black. Sorry. :(

PD: sorry if you don’t understand, mah english is fuckin bad

Good idea, get the pedophiles off the streets and into their houses. Touching virtual people isnt nearly as bad as real people.

  15. kitsu says:

  16. hornyfreak says:

The Fact is it doesnt matter what a game is about some morrons wills till do it in real life also and YES people who play GTA have decied to go postal on their school friends enemies and teachers so maybe ppl should just think about banning all games that arnt about cute cuddle teddys that play with flowers and nothing else But then Again Where would the fun be with out sick weird anbd freaky games??

  17. StevenOdd says:

Do you think that the guys who go postal after playing Grand Theft Auto didn’t already have that capacity? I doubt if that is true.

  18. guitar81 says:

if a game could “miraculously” cause someone without, at inward, violent tendencies to “go postal” we’d see a whole heck of a lot more of it happening than we do. because i’m sure the number of people who play violent video games greatly outnumbers those who actually go through with the violence in real life.

  19. guitar81 says:

meant to say: at least inward. i was typing too fast, my fingers couldn’t keep up. haha.

  20. Mortal Mind says:

Violence…Little girl fetish…They are both entertaining. Violence is entertaining because…well we are human so it comes natural (its also about power and all that but thats a discussion for a later date). The interest in little girls or otherwise refered to as “Pedo” or cleverly disguised as “Lolicon” is basicly an arousal in Innocence or that of which is Taboo. So…Ya either way its all entertaining and helps pass the time.

in which site is this the game shown above.

  22. loler says:

i agree with xen ix, if you are going to judge games from the other side of the planet, first judge your own country´s. I believe that playing violent games won´t make you violent, so I also believe that playing sexual games won´t make you more sexually aggresive. I don´t like the idea of lolicon games (it WILL take peoples most guarded innocence), but really, humans are animals, hopefully not beasts, but still animals, and sex and violence is part of our nature, and that´s why we don´t like games about “cute cuddle teddys that play with flowers and nothing else” like someone said, just because it´s beneath anyone who has already got introduced into sex and/or violence. I have seen cases where playing games about killing people has actually made the person who has played it repulsive to the idea of repeating it on real life. Maybe playing sexual games will create repulsion to it. I say this even though I don´t agree with these companies making these kinds of games, just because it´s what I considere the truth, not mattering my opinion at the moment of saying what is right.
