With the Transformers convention, Botcon, having come and gone, the Transformers community is brimming over with news in regards to the toys, the comics, the live action movie, the new cartoon series and so much more. One tidbit of info struck me by surprise, however.

DC Comics is willing to do a Transformers vs. the Justice League of America comic book. File that under “most unexpected crossovers of all time”, right along with KISS meets Howard the Duck, Archie vs. the Punisher, Battle of the Planets/Witchblade and Superman vs. the Thundercats. And yes, all of those comics actually happened.

This could prove interesting. With the original Transformers comic from the 80’s, we got to see what the Transformers were like in the Marvel Universe (Megatron even fought Spider-Man in the 3rd issue). Now is our oppertunity to see what the comic might have been like had DC gotten the rights to the line from Hasbro. Here’s hoping it doesn’t suck.
