Windows XP Embedded soon to be USB bootable

In case you don’t know what Windows XP Embedded is, it’s basically a different build of Windows XP (yes, yet another one) that is used mostly for:

OEMs, ISVs and IHVs

Next month, when the (inhale now) Windows XP Embedded SP2 Feature Pack 2007 is released, among other features, it will add USB support. Which means that you’ll be able to boot Windows XP from any USB 2.0 flash drive (with enough capacity, of course).

I wonder if new Windows viruses will start appearing that “damage” flash-drives (that includes iPods).
