Just as we announced a couple of days ago, the iPod Shuffle has indeed started shipping, and to prove that, we bring you some of the very first pictures of it being “unwrapped”.

What we can learn from these photos is:

• the new Shuffle comes with the old Apple earphones
• It connects via the stereo head-phone jack, instead of via USB plug. Don’t ask me how…
