There are probably already a few of these iPod (or general DAP) compatible alarm clocks out there, but I found this one to be pretty cool in my opinion. Focal Point Upgrade has released iBoom, a nice alarm clock that can double as a “Boom Box”, with an FM radio, an iPod radio, and is compatible with your Apple Remote.

Although I don’t know Japanese, by visiting the product’s site I was able to tell from the pictures that it’s compatible with pretty much any iPod, and also charges them. Unfortunately, the product was not on Apple’s Japan Online Store, so I’m unable to tell you it’s price.

1Pretty cool concept, albeit a bit gimmicky.
