And… it’s brown. The design is quite sleek, but perhaps a bit too “vintage” due to it’s choice of brown as the main color, instead of the more popular black, or white.
There aren’t many things on the site that we don’t already know. It will be released in the United States in the 14th of November (that’s on a Tuesday two weeks from now, in case you were wondering). It will support music file sharing, although, in a rather limited form:
The Zune to Zune sharing feature may not be available for all audio files on your device, and works only between Zune devices within wireless range of each other. This feature allows recipients to play full-length sample tracks up to 3 times in 3 days. Recipients cannot re-send music that they have received via the sharing feature.
As for the supported formats:
Zune software can import audio files in unprotected .WMA, MP3, AAC; photos in JPEG; and videos in .WMV, MPEG-4, H.264
Though it supports (unprotected) AAC, I’m not sure if it will play music from your iTunes store. But even if they aren’t supported, there are a few tools that allow you to remove the protections in those files.

1The new Zune theme for Windows XP is really nice. Looks very much like Vista’s black theme.

3Most likely, because someone else owns it. Whoever that person is, he or she may be getting a fat check from Microsoft soon, if the cards are played right.
