The Martin Logan Descent i Subwoofer is a powerful piece of technology. With power enough to shake you thanks to its 2100 watts of peak and 750 watts of continuous power.
The subwoofer has three aluminum drivers, each with its own amp. It places them at 120 degree incriments to each other, designed as such to hopefully cancel out any cabinet vibrations that would effect the quality of sound.
The drivers are 10 inches across and will cost you $2,995 USD. The best part though, the dial on the speakers actually go to 11. How cool is that? Now when you say “crank it to eleven.” You won’t be some crazy rock castoff that thinks he is cool. You actually have speakers that can do it.
Not being much of an audiophile, I’d rather just modify the numbers around the dial that controls my speakers so they are closer together, thus allowing me to fit an eleven in where the ten should go. It would probably be cheaper, but not as “cool”.
