I'm with Bill on this too. I refuse to purchase any DRM'd track online. I buy CD's and rip them. My media server holds over 800 cd's that I've personally ripped and have stored downstairs in boxes!

I've only ever purchased one track online through iTunes. I have purchased hundreds of physical CDs over the past couple decades (and hundreds of cassettes before that) and I've probably converted 80% of my CDs to MP3 for use on my MP3 player and PC (mostly so I'm not shuttling CDs around all the time). However I've not distributed the music to others; it's strictly for personal use. The idea that I can't rip my own CDs to MP3 for my own use is preposterous.
