Lately there have been some problems with Microsoft’s tech support. In fact, someone already made a lawsuit against them because of their poor service and failure to comply with the warranties they issue.
Basically, what happened is that a person bought an XBox 360, and two weeks later it bricked, so he phoned the XBox tech support, since he had a 90 day warranty and the tech support employee “Steve” was extremely rude to him. In fact, “Steve” even shouted against the customer and said:
Steve: (here’s the kicker) I don’t care if you bought your console yesterday, we still show your warranty is expired.
I’ve never had any problems with consoles, however, I can tell you that Sony Vaio Portugal’s tech support is extremely nice and the exact opposite of the behavior shown in the referred article.

1I called Xbox Live support to cancel my subscription the day it had renewed. I know they can refund it and cancel the service since I had asked them before to do it. I get this lady, and after the usual pitches and attempts to keep me on the subscription, she began to reprimand me for canceling.
Ended up being very rude to the lady.
Wasn’t so bad, though. Least she wasn’t Indian.
