If you’re a Wii owner, then you’ll be happy to know that the Wii Forecast Channel has been released. When I woke up today I saw my Wii’s Disk tray glowing, so I knew something was up, so I turned it on, ran the firmware upgrade and after a few simple steps I already had weather information from my area, and from all around the world.

This new features enables users to access an interface similar to Google-Earth and allows you to view the basically view how the weather is in any part of the globe. If you live in an area with irregular weather, like in my case, then this program will prove to be very useful. My daily waking up routine has changed a bit, and instead of guessing whether it will be cold or not or rainy, I simply turn on my Wii, and in a matter of seconds it makes the choice for me.
