WARNING: SIGNATURE EDITION IS NOT A FULL STAND ALONE VERSION OF VISTA. Signature is only an upgrade for XP. But it’s packaged to look like a full copy of vista. There is nothing on the packaging that in any way warns you that you can’t use it without a previous version of windows. I’m building a brand new system and I don’t have XP or any other operating system on it(thats why I bought Vista), so Signature edition can’t be installed on it. $259 (plus tax) down the drain.
