While Sony and Microsoft battle in out with new Disk formats, and fancy specifications, Nintendo’s small top-dog continues to sell like cotton candy in a circus.

According to Nintendo the ten million figure represents sell through to customers, not shipped units to retailers, with 1.7 million consoles being sold in December alone in Europe.

Will the winner of the current generation of consoles be the only one that (barely) fits in your pockets?
