And before you ask, TP doesn’t stand for Toilet Paper in this case ;)

The Vaio TP1 is a new miniature form PC built for living rooms that Sony has introduced at this year’s CES. But even though it is tiny, like the Mac Mini, it packs a mean punch in terms of processing power thanks to a Core 2 Duo and is able to store many more movies than the recently re-announced Apple Tv with it’s 300GB Hard Drive. It hooks up to your TV via HDMI, and you can hook up your peripherals to it via USB, or most common flash cards, CDs or DVDs.

If you’re looking for a small PC to hook up to your television that will blend well in your living room, but you don’t like Apple’s much, then this small Sony Vaio might be the thing just for you, well, if it’s priced decently. But… I’m guessing that it will be more expensive than the Mac Mini (once again, just a guess).
