Microsoft’s very own CEO Steve Ballmer was recently interviewed about the iPhone. Among other things, he says he is not afraid of the iPhone and brands it as the most expensive cellphone ever released and says that the lack of a physical keyboard is something that will make customers choose one of their own products.
Instead of pointing out the sheer difference in quality between Windows Mobile, and the portable Mac OS X, he simply says that his devices “will do” most of the things that the iPhone can. It doesn’t matter how badly his cellphones operate, as long as they have the features. Isn’t that why the iPod completely dominates the market? It’s certainly not because of extra features.
