I want the iPhone but it is only available with Cingular. To get out of my
Verizon contract and avoid an early termination fee I am considering
Cellswapper.com (http://www.cellswapper.com). Has anybody tried it yet?

And what if I am stuck under contract with a carrier OTHER
than Cingular but still want a iPhone?
Well, the only solution
I could fine was http://www.Cellswapper.com -
they get you out of any cell phone contract!

I don’t need to spend $600 on a phone either, but I can justify spending $200 on a phone, $200 on an iPod, and $200 on a portable internet device.

Right, the new iPhone from Apple.
To begin with i’d like to say that I would love one of these but, a big but there, I wouldn’t dare. I wouldn’t dare to spend that much on a phone/pda and to have people know i’ve got one. I’ve got a feeling that any thief with a brain is going to be hunting these things out. Secondly I would be too scared of damaging it or making it look worse than it comes out of the box. I am extremely cautious and protective of technology that costs a lot and I couldn’t possibly carry one of these around with me. [I'd probably be worried of it getting scratched in my pocket]

Yes this phone is extremely nice but at my age I couldn’t possibly think about getting one in reality. This type of phone is aimed at young business men/women.

If I were to buy one however, I would be very concerned about scratches and grease on that beautiful display.

1) No buttons at all = no tactile interface at all.

2) $600 /after/ you buy a 2-year contract with Cingular (who’s the only one you choose from anyway)

Those two are showstoppers for me.

And this thing is going to be pretty greasy with fingerprints and faceprints after a week or two.

I don’t discount the fact that there’s a lot of “cool” to this phone, but I’m not alone by far in my reasons to not get one.

No thrid party software
– means it’s not a PDA, u r stuck with
what apple throws at u.

No removable battery – r u kidding me?

No expendible memory slot.

It’s sleek phone(it’s not a smartphone in
its true form-like i said up there, u can’t
install ur software-that ain’t a smartphone)

But nothing revolutionary about it,
as all other apple products.

I never understand why ppl have gone
crazy for ipod, if u been follwoing mp3
scene from the beginning, u’d know
what i’m saying.

It’s pretty, that’s about it.
