Toshiba just announced that they will start shipping a SATA HD-DVD burner this month for a non-disclosed price. Besides burning dual layer HD-DVDs it also burns the following formats:

It has a 8MB cache and burns DVD RAM at 3x, DVDs at 8x, DL DVDs at 2.4x and HD-DVDs at 2.4x

If the XBox 360 is your favorite console, then this is the type of burner you’ll want to get. Let us just hope you don’t have to mortgage a Playstation 3 to purchase one.
