If it’s one thing I’m an extremely big geek about, it’s old Sci-Fi movies. I love ‘em. I just can’t help it. I wish there were still Drive-In theaters near where I live that ran these classics…but alas, those days are gone (and WERE gone before I was even born).

Still…the Sci-Fi Channel has done the next best thing (well, next best to them actually running them on their network…but that ain’t gonna happen either).

They have launched the Sci-Fi Drive-In. They have tons of classic Sci-Fi movies and serials – from Radar Men from the Moon to Metropolis and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, this is a great online resource to check out these classic films.

True, you can download most of these off of bittorrent or the like, but this is a much easier way to enjoy these great classics. Now all you have to do is pu the computer on the hood of your car, grab a pizza and your best gal, and pretend it’s the 1950s all over again…
