Here are some details about the upcoming Babylon 5: The Lost Tales Direct-to-DVD movie. Evidently JMS declined to work on a theatrical film because not enough time had passed since the deaths of Andreas Katsulas and Richard Biggs, and it’s hard for him to envision a Babylon 5 film as long as they “insist on staying dead.”

I have never been a very big fan of Babylon 5…it just wasn’t a franchise that captured me…but I know that some of you are after our recent Top 10 Sci-Fi Franchises article…Babylon 5 was the one franchise that I received the most mail about…so hopefully you’ll enjoy this preview image…

Here are some details on the plot of TLT for those of you that wish to know them…

The Lost Tales Vol 1 is two stories set in the same 48 hour period- one with Sheridan going from Minbar to B5 for an event regarding the 10th anniversary of the Alliance, which the other is about Colonel Lochley on the station waiting and preparing for Sheridan to arrive, while dealing with the trouble that arises there.
