RUMOR: Who is the new Incredible Hulk?

This is just a rumor folks, but it’s a GREAT rumor.

According to Aint-It-Cool-News – we may have our new Incredible Hulk.

For those of you that may be unaware…the first Hulk (directed by Ang Lee) kinda blew. So, Marvel is actually doing a sort of remake/sequel – they’re not saying the first one didn’t happen, and they’re not re-doing the origin in the new film…they’re just changing everything about it from director down to cast and moving forward with a more action oriented Hulk.

So who will play puny banner? Nothing is official yet…but rumor has it that it will be Adrian Brody…and I think that’s GREAT casting. Adrian has the right build, the right look, and the right acting chops to play the tortured Bruce Banner…what do you think?

I think it’s the wrong direction to go to focus on the guy playing Banner – after all, has anyone who followed the Hulk really cared about Banner? The comics were never called “The Occasionally Incredible Bruce Banner…”

But it’s Adrian Brody. I mean, even the Hulk would go, “WTF?” I thought the guy who originally played him did an okay job. He’s not a bad actor (see Black Hawk Down). I just think he was directed badly.
