As the Star Remastering continues, the creative team is getting a little more liberal with their interpretations of the “original” special effects now they they’ve won fans over.

As you can see, they’re really hitting it out of the park with these remastered episodes. The better these remasterings get, the less and less I think a Star Trek XI with a new Kirk and Spock will work. These remastered episodes are beautiful, and as close as we ever need to go for a TOS remake in my opinion.
