Well, according to Newsarama Warner Bros is moving forward with a Justice League script. They have apparently hired Kiernan and Michele Mulroney to pen it…but I have to say, I’m doubtful that this will ever see the light of day.
Warner President of production Jeff Robinov stated, “The Justice League of America has been a perennial favorite for generations of fans, and we believe their appeal to film audiences will be as strong and diverse as the characters themselves.”
The article goes on to state that the film would be a mix of A-list heroes and not just the B squad. This, of course, raises a lot of questions like would Routh and Bale be cast as Superman and Batman in this film, or would they have to go with new…less expensive…actors (although I don’t see Routh doing much…so he’d probably be easy to grab), or will Superman and Batman even be in the film?
I seriously doubt this will ever get past the script stage…but I hope I’m wrong. This could be a very interesting movie.
