If you were one of the people who jumped on the Vista bandwagon, then you probably already noticed that iTunes isn’t too friendly with it (please, leave the conspiracy theories aside). Due to this, Apple has recommended users to wait before upgrading to Vista, or before using iTunes:
iTunes 7.0.2 may work with Windows Vista on many typical PCs. Apple recommends, however, that customers wait to upgrade Windows until after the next release of iTunes which will be available in the next few weeks.
But if you already made the upgrade, then you should download this small repair tool which will allow you to put iTunes in (almost) full functionality.

1I ran out and bought a brand new computer, spent $2000 on the thing along with the software because I bought a new I-Pod Shuffle! well, my old computer wouldnt support the i-tunes, so I accidentally crashed it, dont ask me how, I just did. Now I have a new computer with windows Vista, and I cannot use the Shuffle in which was the whole reason for buying this new computer. Help me to fix this, or tell me what I need to do.
