A Japanese company called Rakuten has just released an alarm clock with a special “twist”: It won’t shut up until you feed it a coin.
Although that feature may sound like a nightmare for all Monday-mornings-sleep-lovers, I have to admit that it might be just the thing needed to get up when the Snooze button smiles at you so tenderly when you wake up on those cold mornings.
Given how my current alarm clock frequently fails to wake me up (or I succeed in turning it off), an alarm clock such as this one might be just what I need to make me get out of bed.
