Although there already are some large capacity flash drives, they are usually bigger than the usual ones we purchase. Still, Buffalo, a Japanese company, just announced a 16Gb drive which I think surpasses all of the ones currently available in the market.
There is however a slight downside to this product. It is only Windows XP/Vista compatible. Which means that you won’t be able to boot Linux with it, nor use it on a Mac. Even thought that might not drive away that many customers, it’s sad that even though we get a large capacity drive we gain limitations on what we can do with it.
