Creative’s top range DAPs have just received a small update which has made them 15% slimmer, which makes them only 19mm thick, which is still thicker than the iPod with Video nonetheless, which is only 11 or 14 mm, depending on the size of the hard drive.

If the prices of these two players also went through a similar slash then perhaps they would sell a bit more. Despite having some features which are better than the iPod, like the screen for example, it is my opinion that they need to lower their prices a bit more in order to steal a bit of the iPod’s market share with these new models.
