Firefox is our favorite browser around here at Forever Geek…on Windows, Macs, and Linux. So we’re going to be showing you some quick ways to customize the browser so you can get the most out of this versatile IE killer.

First up…changing the Live Bookmark Refresh Rate.

I love live Bookmarks. It’s a great way to keep up with your favorite sites without having to use an external RSS reader…but if you’re like me, you want the info the SECOND it becomes available, so you might want to change the Live Bookmarks Refresh rate.

Here’s how:

type about:config

create a new interger value: browser.bookmarks.livemark_refresh_seconds and enter the number of seconds for the update interval (default:3600)

That’s it.
