Watchmen, to some, is the definitive comic book series of all time. It is the holy grail of what comics can and should be. I am not one of those people. Now, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed Watchmen, and I respect and appreciated what it is, and where it has helped lead the industry.

I just prefer other comics more…having said that, I am looking forward to the film adaption of Watchmen. I seriously doubt ANY studio could do justice to the comic, but I won’t be watching it as a translation of the comics…just as a movie. Exactly as I’ll be watching 300 later today…

Speaking of 300, an R-rated trailer for the film appeared online yesterday and sparked some controversy, not just for the trailer itself, but for some footage that appeared after the trailer. Specifically an image that looks strangely like Rorshach from Watchmen.

Well, the folks over at Aint-It-Cool have confirmed that the image is, indeed, Rorshach, and have even provided us with a high-rez still of the character.
