First, the disgusting Superman III and IV, after, Micheal keaton as Batman, Alicia Slverstone as Batgirl, those abominations Hulk and Fantastic Four, the rumours about Julia Roberts play Wonder Woman role and now, Jake Gyllenhall as the Big Red Cheese? Gyllenhaal could be Marvel, and someone else could be Batson. He could play a very convincing child in an adult's body. As for the size issue, there's no reason he couldn't be made to look huge. Captain Marvel is a very different beast than Venom. Captain Marvel is supposed to be a larger-than-life representation of what a 12 year old boy thinks of as a superhero...Jake Gyllenhaal ain't it.
