Seems like I’m not the only one updating my design.

Very nice. I like it a lot. The old design was kind of boring, “old” and cold. Keep up the good work.

Nice, well done! I like the simplicity and stylishness of the new design, kudos.

I have one minor criticism though, which is the google ad that’s stuffed in under the post header and above the post text – it’s not boxed out, and it’s rather confusing. My first thought was that the page was broken (it isn’t). Now, fair play – it gets the ad read, but it certainly confused me as it felt like body copy when it isn’t.

I like the new design! I’ve always had some issues with the old design and the use of MT back when I was still an editor here. I hope it would be easier for writers to now focus more on content rather than having to tweak entries just so things would appear ok once published).

As one of the oldest editors here I have to admit that this is a bit “sad”. Not that I’m disappointed with the design, but it’s just that it’s completely different from the previous ones. This new image is very fresh, very web 2.0, and I think that we should all congratulate Elena (from Design Disease) for doing her “magic” once again.

I’m a critique at heart, so there are certainly some little things I would change, as would any other that looked at this page (there was already a commentary regarding the logo’s color), but in the end, I don’t think I would change that many things. As a whole, I think that it fits together very well.

I think that we should just enjoy the design as it is: as a breath of fresh air to a relatively “old” design style.

We might have lost a bit of the serious “geeky look” that the old design had, but instead we gained a more mainstream presentation without breaking the previous content or the readability. And I think that most of our readers will appreciate it.

Thank you for your commentaries, and I hope that you’ll remain with us as we continue to deliver the best quality content we can find.

It definitely loads faster than the previous version, I like the design, but I’m not sure about the logo, maybe a different font would work better. All in all – good job :)

I think the new design is a huge improvement and WordPress rocks. Way to go! Good luck ironing out the rest of the kinks.
