Yesterday Nintendo introduced three new titles to the popular Virtual Console online store: Elevator Action, Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts and Sword of Vermilion.
Elevator Action is a multi-directional NES title in which you control a spy who has to infiltrate a building to steal some secret papers by using kicks, guns and even lights to take out the guards. Although that might sound like a bit of fun, or at least it was in 1983, the real star of the new titles is certainly Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, which is considered by many as classic hack-and-slash masterpiece.

Even so, the roleplaying game, Sword of Vermilion, shouldn’t be disregarded because it was the very first console title designed by the “legendary” developer Yu Susuki who created some of the most popular classic arcade titles we know, like Out Run, Virtua Fighter and is the project leader behind the amazing Shenmue series.
