The Optimus Maximus keyboard, for those that don’t know, is now considered the “king” of all keyboards, and is probably the most expensive keyboard ever made at $1,490. What makes this keyboard so expensive, and so desired, is that all of the keys have a small OLED screen beneath them, making all of the keys customizable to your liking.
Unfortunately, the only thing the Optimus Maximus has going for it right now is a handful of press shots, that Engadget managed to get, for you to drool upon. And although it might be a dreamy keyboard, I’d rather use the money on the nice Macbook in intend on purchasing soon.
As a small sidenote, Mac users should rejoice because this keyboard will be compatible with their computers. Just look at the clover symbol on the screenshot above.

1The thing here I worry about is, this “standard” edition stuff. You know when a
company caleld something standard, and its part of a series family, will surface 6
months later. Wait it out!
