One of the features in which Sony has been lagging, compared to some other Camera manufacturers, is the lack of a camera that allows Wireless image transfers. But don’t go pre-ordering one just yet… it appears that the wireless function will only work for “Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-enabled devices”. I hope that the only necessity for the wireless communication is a specific software.
As for the other features, this camera comes with a 6 Megapixel CCD sensor, 3x Optical Zoom, 3.5″ LCD screen and an ISO sensitivity that ranges from 80 to 1000. Oh, and did I mention that it comes with 2 Gigabytes of internal memory?
This model will be shipping in April for about $600 but you can pre-order it from Sony’s website before if you really want. DPreview has more details about the camera in case you’re interested.
