Sci-Fi Wire reports that one of the original show cars from the 1980s hit Knight Rider series is up for sale. Fully restored to season one glory, the Knight Industries Two Thousand (which is a modified Pontiac Trans Am) can be yours for only $149,995. The car is on display at a Dublin, Calif., auto dealership, and if I had the money laying around I wouldn’t have even posted this because I would have been hopping a plane to pick this bad boy up.
This is one of the original 4 K.I.T.T.s used for close up scenes with David Hasselhoff, and scenes where Hasselhoff was behind the wheel of the car. Unfortunately, the car doesn’t talk…but I’m betting you could squeeze a GPS in there somewhere…
